The sacred energy triangle in the Rhodope Mountains is one of the most discussed and unexplained phenomena in Bulgarian mystical geography. It consists of three locations – Belintash, Cross Forest and Karadzhov Stone – each with its own unique energy, history and mysteries. Located at almost equal distances from each other, they form a kind of triangle, which according to explorers and spiritual travelers has a strong energy field and sacred meaning. Since the time of the Thracians, these places have been used for rituals, and nowadays they continue to attract people seeking contact with something greater than themselves. Belintash is located at an altitude of about 1200 meters and is one of the most ancient sanctuaries of the Thracians. There are grooves, circles and symbols carved into the rock, which according to researchers served as a star map or sacrificial platforms. The site is highly energetic and often associated with cosmic influences and visions. Cross Forest, on the other hand, is considered one of the holiest sites in the country – it is associated with the legend of a piece of the cross of Christ and is visited by thousands of pilgrims each year, especially on the Feast of the Cross. There is a monastery complex, ritual stones and a specially built cross, placed there in 1936 on the initiative of King Boris III. Karadzhov Kamen is a difficult to reach area where two rock masses press against a third – as if hanging between heaven and earth. The place is full of passages, chutes and carved steps, and according to some scholars it was used for initiation rituals. The three locations form an equilateral triangle with a center that is said to emit a specific vibrational field, felt even physically by sensitive people.
