The idea in embryo
The idea for the project “Bulgaria one click away!”, although still in a very vague form, was born at the end of 2018.
Initially, I planned to focus on photographing the landmarks, part of the 100 national sites. Although their number is not small at all, I eventually realized that it is far from enough to cover the entire wealth of scenery, nature, culture and history that Bulgaria offers.
In the following years, the concept gradually became clearer, but something still seemed to be missing. I’ve long been interested in drone photography, not just for the breathtaking views it captures in photos and video, but for the experience of flight itself. At that time, drones were not that popular in our country, and videos shot from the air, especially in Bulgaria, were scarce. Where I came across them, my impression was that the footage shot with a drone was not of high quality and distinctive filming technique. It was then that I finally chose the direction.
From thoughts into action
After the years that have passed imperceptibly and the events that have marked and transformed my life, the time has finally come to translate my thoughts into action. And so, on 18.06.2021 the name Bulgaria DropView was born – literally meaning “to drop a look from above”. This name is meant to show all the corners of Bulgaria – both the popular ones and those that are little known and remain in the shadows.
Monetization of the YouTube channel
Despite the deprivation and effort I was constantly putting into the project, 4000 hours of viewership in the last 365 days (the monetization requirement of the channel) seemed almost unattainable. But at the end of December 2023, the cherished moment arrived. After my first two strong videos, which reached a significantly larger audience than usual, I was able to achieve the required viewership and the channel was monetized.
Building on and new ideas
The whole year was dedicated to a serious upgrade in the quality of video and audio processing, the styling of the YouTube channel, and better structuring and presentation of information. During this period, I got a lot of new ideas that further motivated me. I continued with purposeful quality improvement in all aspects and actively sought feedback from the audience.
Expansion and popularisation
The concept of expanding and promoting and all the ideas that have come to me over the past years I started to implement on the first working day of 2025. Among them are creating a functional website, promoting and building the channel’s identity through the message that is the main focus of each episode – “Bulgaria one click away!“.
The aim of the project is to cover the whole of Bulgaria and to establish itself as the number one place of reference for tourist destinations – both for Bulgarian and foreign tourists, and to become an integral part of every traveler’s plans.
Goals
Our goal is to reveal both the popular and the unknown corners of Bulgaria that tell unique stories. Through drone footage, vlogging, tips and interviews with locals, we will showcase the country’s hidden treasures. We will take you to places that are not so well known, but which also hide incredible beauty of cultural value. This is our way to present Bulgaria to the world – as a destination with a rich history, unique sights and the opportunity for unique experiences.
We want to inspire people to move more and lead a healthy lifestyle. We will show how important it is to be active by walking in nature and discovering new routes. Through input and personal example, we will motivate everyone to get outside and enjoy physical activity. Health starts with every step towards an active lifestyle. As we go around, we combine the useful with the pleasant and accumulate unforgettable memories with cheerful company!
We will showcase the incredible variety of natural and cultural wonders the country has to offer, covering both the popular and the hidden spots. We will highlight the beauty and richness of Bulgaria, attracting tourists from all over the world. Our mission is to establish Bulgaria on the world tourism map and make it even more attractive to international visitors.

Bulgaria DropView is a project created with the idea of much more than just drone footage. Here the look is different and unconventional, revealing what is hidden beyond the ordinary in the picture. The quest for accurately captured moments tells much more than just stories. Each location is not just a dot on a map, but a scene that comes to life and compels you to visit.
