The moraines in Vitosha Mountain represent one of the most mysterious and impressive natural formations in Bulgaria. Also known as the “stone river”, the moraines in the Zlatni Mostov area were formed by ancient geological processes related to the disintegration of granite rocks. These blocks, sometimes reaching several metres in diameter, slope down the mountainside, creating a unique landscape unparalleled in the region.
The area is not only surrounded by scientific interest, but also by legends – according to one of them, the stone river is the work of petrified giants. Although there is no guide in this episode, viewers will be able to immerse themselves in the raw beauty and majesty of Vitosha, where nature tells a story of its own.
