Here are the most important and dangerous aspects (but not only) that these regulations serve to control:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Aviation safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Risk of collisions<\/strong>: Drones can intrude into the space of commercial, military, private aircraft, helicopters and other drones, creating a risk of collisions, especially in areas with heavy air traffic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Inexperienced operators<\/strong>: many drones are operated by people without proper training, which can lead to accidents. Regulations impose minimum training and competence requirements on pilots.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Privacy and security<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Violation of privacy<\/strong>: Drones with cameras can violate privacy by observing people and places without permission. Regulations establish restrictions on the use of cameras and sensors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Security threats<\/strong>: The possibility that drones could be used for illegal activities, such as spying or even attacks, requires strict control and monitoring of operators.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Risk management and liability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Non-harmonised rules<\/strong>: the rules in place ensure that operators across the EU follow the same standards and so reduce differences in national laws.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Operator responsibility<\/strong>: The regulations set clear requirements for operators <strong>to be registered <\/strong>and receive<strong> appropriate training<\/strong>.
