Koprivshtitsa is a town where every cobbled street sounds like a page from the past. Nestled in the Sredna Gora (Middle Forest) at an altitude of 1,000 metres, this Renaissance capital brings together architecture, rebellion and spirit. Houses with bay windows, colourful walls and a breath of history don’t just preserve memory – they tell it. It was here, on the morning of April 20, 1876, that the first rifle of the April Uprising cracked and gave birth to one of the most heroic episodes of Bulgarian history.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
