Called by the locals &#8220;The Gate of the Gods&#8221;, this megalith resembles a portal &#8211; carved in granite, with an almost perfect rectangular opening facing the sunset. The site is believed to have been used by the Thracians for solar observations and rituals associated with passage to the afterlife.
